In this episode, Andrew shares with us what the experience is like at a Petrus Development Conference.
In June of 2021, we hosted the Petrus Leadership Conference in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado with one hundred development and ministry leaders from around the country. Over the three day conference, we had more than 20 presenters talking about the techniques and mechanics of fundraising as well as inspirational topics such as eulogy virtues and telling a compelling story. In this episode, we will share three brief clips from the conference just to give you an example of the content and quality of speakers.
On June 12-15, 2022, we will be hosting the Petrus Development Conference in another beautiful location, the Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, Florida.

Linda Domeyer has served as a Petrus Consultant since 2015, and also works at the Saint Louis University High School in St. Louis, MO. Linda is a master at building a sustainable development program.
Linda presented during the Basic Training portion of the conference which is intended for those individuals new to fundraising and looking for a broad overview on the principles of development. She talks about how putting together a solid Case for Support, Leadership Team and Development Plan can help create a sustainable development program at your organization.
Fr. Peter Mussett is the chaplain at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Center at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Fr. Peter is also the host of the very popular podcast, the Lanky Guys and a master storyteller.
Fr. Peter breaks down some of the key components of telling a powerful story that will ultimately lead your donors into a deeper relationship with your institution.
Josh Whelan, Vice President and Sr. Consultant for Petrus and Matt Bond, Director of development for the St. John Catholic Student Center at Oklahoma State University.
Matt and the Catholic Pokes team recently completed a capital campaign where they raised over $24.5 million dollars to build a new church and student center. Working with Josh and Petrus, they put together a solid plan and executed that plan for success.
