The Petrus Leadership Conference is a three-day conference presented by Petrus Development. The Petrus leadership team, together with notable guest speakers, provide sustainable development training. There is a universal need within Catholic ministries for sustainable financial development. While the conference content focuses on development at Catholic Campus Ministries at universities in the U.S., parishes and private schools benefit greatly from the training. It is also great for networking with ministry peers. Attendees leave well-informed and recharged!
The typical schedule is a late afternoon arrival on the first day, check-in, mass, and dinner reception. The next two days consist of numerous enrichment sessions and the attendees have some flexibility in their choices. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided as well as daily Mass. There is a group dinner the last evening and the final day wraps up at noon.
The folks at Petrus know that budgets are limited and the choices of conferences can seem unlimited. There is time to prepare! Make plans to join us now!
The next PLC will be held June 2017.
Thank you to all the conference attendees for making this year's Development Institute the best one yet! If you joined us, we hope you left feeling as inspired as we did, and if you could not make it to St. Louis, we hope to see you soon. Petrus Development is committed to providing support and training to Catholic Campus Ministry and we look forward to our conferences each year. Thanks for taking the time to come and help us all strengthen the presence of the Catholic Church. We value your participation. Your attendance is what made the 2015 Development Institute a success!
Your organization has a website, a Facebook page, and maybe you are tweeting. But what about Pinterest? Recently, Pinterest announced they will be offering free accounts to non-profit organizations and businesses to help them make better use of the popular social network. These new accounts won't look different than the others and you will have "follow" and "pin it" buttons.
Pinterest is a content sharing service that allows members to "pin" images, videos and other objects to their pinboard and includes standard social networking features. Create synergy between your other social media pages and Pinterest for your ministry. Set up your organization's Pinterest account and when your followers see what you're posting, they can "pin it" prompting their friends and followers to take notice! Pinterest pins show up on Facebook and Twitter.
