With more than thirty combined years of fundraising experience, Andrew and Tara have seen it all in the development world. They have worked on numerous campaigns in a variety of settings, including campus ministries, parishes, and universities. 

Sarah Du Preez

Sarah Du Preez is the development director for St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish at the University of Arkansas. She is leading the $15M+ "Light on the Hill" campaign to build a new Catholic student center for the campus.

Josh Whelan

Josh Whelan is a Senior Consultant at Petrus development. Josh worked on campaigns for a university, a faith-based organization, and FOCUS before joining Petrus. He has since worked as counsel for a variety of capital campaigns.

  • Organizing key components and personnel to execute all aspects of building design, planning, and construction
  • Managing a building project while also overseeing a simultaneous capital campaign
  • Planning and developing strategy for managing internal expectations and workloads at the parish and diocesan level

Session will be followed by Q&A and small group discussion.

2PM ET - Josh Whelan of Petrus development, who has worked as both staff and counsel for numerous capital campaigns, will discuss how to maximize the ROI of your capital campaign. Session will be followed by Q&A and small group discussion.
