FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

First and foremost, it gives you live entry to a 55-hour virtual event that will be a mixture of inspiration, education and information. You will also have access to view videos and download documents, presentations and resources for 365 days following the conference. We will be using the event platform, Whova which comes with both a desktop and mobile app. All live sessions will be conducted on Zoom. Plus, all attendees can schedule a one-on-one video call with a Petrus Consultant at some point during the Conference to discuss their individual ministry needs and what strategies can be implemented to improve fundraising results. Wow! That's a lot! 

We will be using the event platform, Whova which provides a desktop and mobile app to help provide access regardless of where you are. All streaming sessions will be conducted on Zoom. We will utilize both the regular Zoom meetings as well as smaller breakout Zoom sessions. Zoom can be run on just about any desktop or laptop computer, tablet or smartphone.

As with the in person Petrus Leadership Conference, the Petrus Virtual Conference will be a mix of educational and inspiration sessions led by experts in the field of Catholic development as well as time dedicated to meeting other fundraisers and building relationships within the Catholic and faith-based fundraising community. The PVC will have 15 sessions or workshops, 9 interviews, 3 panel discussions, 6 opportunities for role play and 3 ministry case study sessions. And we know you can't watch it all at one time which is why you'll have access to all of the recorded sessions for 365 days following the PVC.

Yes there will be. Our goal is to livestream for 55 straight hours. None of us have ever stayed up that long before so it could get interesting as the conference goes on. The Late Night Program will run from midnight to 600am CST. During this time, we will offer interviews, role play exercises and time for reflection and adoration. For those night owls, West Coasters and insomniacs, join us for some fun times. For everyone else, make a note of what you missed and watch it later. We will also try to pull out bits and pieces from the Late Night sessions and play them throughout the day. 

Not a problem! In fact, we are hoping that we'll have lots of chances to meet our attendees families. This is one of the benefits of going virtual. In fact, we may even have some activities specifically designed to engage the little ones. 

We certainly recommend blocking out the time during the PVC just as if you were away at an actual conference. If you are able to be in your office, go there and put up your "out of office" sign. This is a really great opportunity to learn from experts about how to raise more money for your ministry. If you are committed to learning, it is worth the investment in time and in yourself to separate yourself from normal life as much as possible and really embrace the Petrus Virtual Conference.

Team Registration is intended for up to five (5) individuals holding an official connection to your organization (staff, board member, campaign committee member, etc). If you would like to provide access to more than five individuals, please register as two teams. 

In the past, we have followed the guidelines to allow all conference sessions to count toward the education requirement for the CFRE. We are planning for the same thing for the Virtual Conference and will make the information available at the time of the Conference.
