Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit: The Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit (FHS) embody the Gospel spirit of on-going conversion, in the Franciscan tradition. We are based in Laveen, Arizona on the Gila River Indian Reservation (5447 W. Pecos Rd. Laveen, AZ 85339), and are called by God to preach penance, minister among the poor, work in ecumenical outreach, and foster personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Position Description:
The FHS Administrative Director of Donor Relations supports the Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit (FHS) in their mission through administrative duties pertinent to their formation, evangelization, and ministry. The Administrative Director of Donor Relations focuses on communication and organization of resources to grow the ministry of FHS by engaging FHS benefactors and volunteers. The Administrative Director of Donor Relations will work directly and collaboratively with the FHS Community Servant to ensure the evangelical, spiritual and pastoral focus remain primary. The position must have a high degree of external focus to continue to develop, grow and foster an ever-increasing donor data base for FHS growth.

Responsibilities:

Meet with current & prospective donors and supports on a continual basis to establish effective communications with them.

Manage donor database, collecting, researching, and maintaining DonorPerfect development system and affiliated tools.

Create and present reports on FHS fundraising, donor prospects, and donor relations.

Cultivate relationships with volunteers.

Ability to research and outreach for grant opportunities for FHS from private sector foundations, corporations or public/governmental partnerships.

Must have the ability to work well with others in a team environment and demonstrate excellent service skills.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Perform other related duties as requested by the Community Servant and the Franciscan Friars of the Holy Spirit
Qualifications:
- An active Catholic who is in full communion with the Church is preferred.
- Ability to communicate FHS’s evangelical mission of the proclamation of Jesus Christ.
- BA required. MA a plus.
- Ability to interact personally and professionally with individuals
- Adept networking skills and relation management skills
- Ability to collaborate.
- A high degree of self-confidence, moral integrity and credibility is required.
- Occasional nights and weekends.
- Opportunity to work from home one day a week.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
