Kyle Jaeger Joins the Petrus Team as Account Manager
Today, Kyle Jaeger joins Petrus Development as our new Account Manager. Kyle came to Petrus from St. Paul’s Newman Center at North Dakota State University, where he helped build a strong development program and lead the Move Newman Forward Capital Campaign to more than $15M in gifts and commitments. As Account Manager for Petrus, Kyle will work with new and existing clients to help them transform their ministries through development.
The President of Petrus, Andrew Robison, is thrilled to have Kyle joining the team. “Over the years, Petrus has done significant work for the Church and for a number of wonderful ministries. Bringing Kyle on to the team to help us connect with even more organizations that want and need to grow their fundraising efforts is going to help us take things to the next level.”
Originally from Plymouth MN, Kyle moved to Fargo, ND in 2004 to attend North Dakota State University and complete his undergraduate degree in business. While at NDSU, Kyle got involved with the St. Paul’s Newman Center and fell in love with Catholic campus ministry. “I experienced what it was like to be in college and face the decision to abandon my faith or pursue a true relationship with Christ. I am so thankful to St. Paul’s for giving me the community and guidance to make my faith a real part of my life.”
Following graduation, Kyle joined the ranks of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), and served on campus at the University of Missouri – Kansas City for one year and Minnesota State University – Mankato for two years. During his time with FOCUS, Kyle felt particularly fulfilled during his meetings with his ministry partners and successfully raised 100 percent of his salary every year. At the end of his three years with FOCUS, Kyle took on a full-time role with the St. Thomas More Newman Center at MSU-Mankato where he nearly doubled the annual fund as well as raised $2.5M for the capital campaign. While at MSU-Mankato, he also pursued his Masters of Arts in Philanthropy and Development at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
As Account Manager for Petrus, Kyle will work with new and existing clients to communicate the benefits of having a strong development program and explore ways in which their ministry can grow through a partnership with Petrus. “Petrus Development is one of the best organizations currently serving the Catholic Church. I believe in the work that they are doing and I want to do everything that I can to grow the list of ministries working with their excellent team of consultants.”
Part of the reason that Kyle has had success during his career in development is because he believes in the higher calling of philanthropy. “Philanthropy is one of the greatest assets to the life of the Church. Giving invites supporters into the mission of the Church in a way that brings tremendous joy to the donor and helps the mission grow at unprecedented levels.”
Kyle lives in Fargo, ND with his wife, Kalene and their four boys. When not working, he loves playing golf, relaxing at the lake, and having adventures with his family. They are members of Holy Spirit Parish in Fargo, ND.
