2019 Annual Manual Giveaway

Overview

Petrus Development will select two Catholic ministries to receive a year’s worth of FREE TRAINING on annual fundraising and development best practices through access to the Petrus Annual Manual. The two selected ministries will begin their training on October 1, 2019. They will have access to training materials and a weekly phone consultation with a Petrus team member at no cost through September 30, 2020.


What is the Petrus Annual Manual?

The Petrus Annual Manual provides Catholic organizations desiring to grow their Annual Fund with a game plan built on best practices and proven strategies. Included with the Annual Manual Program:

1. 12-Month Development Calendar
2. Weekly Email Instructions and Guidance
3. Access to Digital Library of How-To Guides and Sample Materials
4. Weekly Phone Call with Petrus Consultant

GIVEAWAY GUIDELINES


Eligibility

To be eligible your organization must…

  • Be a Catholic nonprofit ministry registered in the US
  • Have an annual budget of $150,000-500,000
  • Have a full-time staff member to take the lead on development
  • Complete the online application NO LATER THAN 11:59PM ON SEPTEMBER 10

Client Commitment

If selected as a giveaway winner, your organization will be expected to…

  • Commit to weekly phone calls with a Petrus consultant
  • Commit to quarterly reporting of financials
  • Commit financial resources to implementing best development practices (mailings, database, small group receptions, etc)
  • Utilize a donor database (if you do not already have a database system in use, you will need to purchase one)
  • Participate in podcast interviews to discuss growth of development program

Application Process

To apply, please click the APPLY TODAY button and submit the google form. Questions will include:

  • Ministry details – location, leadership, etc
  • Point of contact – current role, background
  • Financials – annual budget, sources of income
  • Essays – What is your vision for the ministry? What are three areas of growth that could be addressed with increased funding? What has been done previously to fundraise?

Review Process

  • Selections will be made by a committee. Members of the committee include:
    • Andrew Robison, President of Petrus Development
    • Mike St. Pierre, Executive Director of the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA)
    • Jason Simon, President of Evangelical Catholic
    • Andrew Kebe, Senior Mission Director of Saint Paul’s Outreach
  • Selection will be based on need, likelihood of success, and commitment from leadership
